For many donors, charitable remainder trusts (CRTs) and charitable gift annuities (CGAs) are attractive estate planning tools that provide an income stream for the donor and facilitate the donor’s planned giving and tax objectives. With interest rates continuing to rise, now may the right time for a donor to utilize one of these techniques. This presentation will explore the differences between CRTs and CGAs, and provide planning tips and strategies.
