Maintaining balance of professionalism & relationships can be hard. We’ll look at various angles of stewardship in a donor’s final chapter.

About this event

Join us on Friday March 11 for a panel discussion with industry professional that looks at different angles of donor stewardship during their final chapter. As donors age, their decisions and conversations become all the more important. Issues of diminished capacity, family input and attorneys often become crucial to keeping organizations out of legal pitfalls.

In this panel discussion we will take a look at the potential issues at hand and how to navigate them from the perspective of an attorney, donor, development professional and foundation.

The learning objectives for this program:

1. Learn best practices to navigate donor relationships at end of life

2. Familiarize self with legal issues that may arise from donor stewardship

3. Understand the relationship structure between a donor, agency, family and legal counsel.
